This place suits me perfectly! I enjoy the free wi-fi, ski equipment hire, and the helpful 24-hour reception. The staff even assisted me with parking on my first visit, which I truly appreciated. I highly recommend it for a relaxing getaway. I'm excited to return for a new year!

Kind staff provided some assistance.
The hotel is quite run down and needs substantial renovations. The hallway carpets were dirty, and the elevator looked neglected. I had to leave after the first night because the conditions in the room were disappointing.

The onsen experience was wonderful and soothing, with multiple pools and warm, comforting water after a day of skiing. However, the hotel itself felt slightly dated and had some cleanliness issues that detracted from the overall vibe. The food was good but not standout.

I stayed here for one night and enjoyed the outdoor onsen. The experience was refreshing, especially with the beautiful snow-covered surroundings. It reminded me of my travels in Italy, where nature and relaxation blend seamlessly.
I found the dining options too expensive for a simple meal. Having no affordable variety nearby was a hassle.

Good or Bad?
The onsen experience was incredible! The outdoor onsen offered a stunning view of the night sky, making it a relaxing escape after skiing. Also, the shuttle service from Karuizawa was a major plus!
Unfortunately, the hotel felt a bit dated, with a lack of welcoming atmosphere. The staff's service was below expectations, and the in-room facilities weren't clean enough for my liking.

Plus, it was neat to spot a play area for the kiddos right on the ski slopes!
But talk about being cut off from grub! We were on our own unless we wanted to shell out big bucks for breakfast or a pricey buffet, which was way too steep for our vegetarian cravings.

The outdoor onsen experience is exceptionally wonderful, especially with family, as it offers warm to hot pools amidst the cool air. The spacious room provided a pleasant stay despite the dated decor, and the drive to the hotel is scenic. However, the breakfast options were quite limited, lacking quality in western items, and while the food was plentiful, it didn't stand out compared to other hotels. Additionally, there are stains on the carpets that take away from the overall experience.

Had an awesome trip with friends! We enjoyed outdoor activities like sledding and playing tennis. The onsen experience was refreshing, especially after a day in the snow. Just a heads up, you'll need to buy a fairly pricey bathing suit to use the mixed onsen. Overall, great stay and perfect for a friends' getaway!
One downside was the lack of affordable dining options. The buffet and breakfast were pretty expensive, and it would have been nice to have more choices nearby.
